Throné is one of the eight characters you can play in Octopath Traveler 2. You will follow each character’s journey through a series of chapters, learning more about them and their story. In Throné’s Chapter 2, you will be faced with a choice of poison cups while seeking down Mother. This may leave you wondering which cup to drink from in Octopath Traveler 2.
Octopath Traveler 2 - Should you drink the right or left cup in Throné’s Chapter 2 Mother’s Route
You should choose theright cupduring Throné’s Chapter 2 in Octopath Traveler 2. This is the cup thatdoes not contain poison. If you choose the left cup, then Throné will die, and you will receive a game over screen. This can be confusing as the password to enter the building mentions the left cup, but do not choose this cup. But, when highlighting the Left option, you will notice a blood splatter appear across the choice, indicating it is poisoned.

After choosing the correct cup, the Slaver will finish the game and drink the poisoned cup. Before dying, he will reveal that Mother can be found at Mother’s Garden. This will take you back to the eastern continent to Montwise.
