So, you’ve finished Blacksmith Blue’s I, II, III, and IV. Now you have the recipe forGotterdammerung, the strongest sword in FFXVI. The only thing keeping you from becoming the best-equipped warrior in the Twin Realms is the materials for it. Chances are, you’ll have all of them sans Orichalcum. Here’s how to get it in Final Fantasy XVI.
FF16 Orichalcum location
Orichalcum is dropped byall S-Rank monsters on the hunt board. You need to defeat all four of them to obtain all the materials you need to craft Gotterdammerung (or Ultima inFinal Fantasy mode). The beasts you’re looking for are the likes of Atlas, Svarog, and Pandemonium. All of them are extremely tough, so bring all the potions you may carry. Equip your best ability set(s) too.
you may also get an Orichalcum bycompleting the second part of the Undying’s quest, just before you enter the Origin.

Many of them are so powerful they can even one-shot Clive. I highly recommend playing it safe and bringing Titan with you for the shield security. Pay extra attention to all their patterns so you know when to dodge as well. The best way to defeat these things is always to lean on melee attacks. They ALWAYS punish those who would dare spam magic from afar with truly devastating moves.
