However, Masoud is only willing to part with it if you can answer his riddle: What is his greatest treasure?

Despite the mind games, this Scent of Commerce quest is actually one of the easier ones to finish. Just follow the steps below:
Congrats! You’ve solved the riddle. It’s a little narcissistic, butMasoud’s Treasure is himself—that is, his experiences as a Merchant. Partitio hiring him because of it is the correct answer.

Masoud will also open his library, which contains books with information about the region (and outside of it). It’ll help you learn about weaknesses faster and provide a ton of lore. If you’re a huge fan of the first Octopath Traveler game, you might notice a lot of easter eggs. We’re not too sure if the events in Octopath Traveler 2 are asequel or prequelbut lo and behold—both games exist in the same world.
