As you traverse the moon, you’ll face a bunch of Xenomorphs that can overwhelm you with numbers. It’s an interesting concept as you’re not a super-strong Space Marine that can run through waves of enemies. Being vulnerable is part of the experience, as your marines have aDarkest Dungeon-like stressmeter.
The game is more than just an endless fight with Aliens though. Between missions, you’re able to customize your squad, level up marines, and specialize them with unique abilities, weapons, armor, and perks, for high-stakes missions on treacherous terrain. You also have a base of operations to research new tech and enhance your squad.
