System Shock was one of my favorite games growing up, and when I heard that System Shock Remake was coming out, naturally, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. This game is a modern take on a legendary FPS shooter, a staple for its time and genre. Many players will be wondering how the game did in reviews and, ultimately, whether it is worthy of the famous System Shock title.

What is the System Shock Remake Metacritic and Opencritic Score?

Things look good for remakes, and I am happy to see developers doing justice to old classics from my childhood. System Shock Remake is picking upmostly positivereviews from major sites, with Destructoid calling it “A hallmark of excellence.” System Shock Remake even scored 75 onMetacriticand 75 onOpencritic, which is perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Some websites, like Rock Paper Shotgun, complained about the weapon’s effectiveness, stating that the “hits don’t quite deliver a true sense of force.” System Shock Remake is a modern representation of an old classic of a bygone era, with all its strengths and flaws. Albeit being so, it’s not everybody’s cup of tea.
