As I explored the Losomn area in Remnant 2, I encountered numerous enemies, puzzles, quests, and choices, such askilling Faerin or Faelin. Another choice I encountered was in the Butcher’s Quarters, where I stumbled upon a crowd about to burn a man alive. I had to decide whether to intervene and save the man or allow the crowd to burn him alive. You may be wondering which option you should take.

Should you save the hanged man in Remnant 2?

Ultimately, whether you save the hanged man from burningdepends on which item you want, not your moral compass. If youstop the burning, you will be rewarded with the Shadeskin Trait and theDran Memento Ring. Allowing the hanged man tobe burnt or failing to stop the burningwill grant you the Shadeskin Trait and theSinged Ring.

The Singed Ring is good for builds that utilize fire, while the Dran Memento Ring is good for most builds. Either decision will reward you with the Shadeskin Trait, so the rings are the deciding factor. That said, saving the hanged man from burning is the harder choice. If the hanged man is burnt, leave the area and return. Kill the pig eating the man’s corpse to collect the Singed Ring.
