While Street Fighter 6 has introduced some fantastic new content that has reenergized the series, it will always rely on the fights, special attacks, and combos to win our hearts. The latest iteration launched with 18 fighters to master, each with its own unique style, with many of our favorites coming back for a new lease of life. It’s great to have a choice, but it can also be hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. So, we’ve put together this SF6 tier list to rankall characters, young and old.
Street Fighter 6 Tier List – All Fighters Ranked
This is how I currently see thetier listfor all the Street Fighter 6 fighters at launch.SS and S Tierfighters are generally considered the best fighters in the game, with very few weaknesses and abilities that stack up as a cut above the rest.
A TierSF6 fighters are also great choices, but they just lack that bit of special sauce that would push them into the S Tier. However, if you gel with them, they are certainly worth your time.B Tierfighters are OK, but you’ll usually find a better fighter in a higher tier, whileC TierStreet Fighter 6 characters are the weakest ones out there right now.

The best fighters in Street Fighter 6
Below you’ll find a little more detail on why we think these are the best fighters in Street Fighter 6 at launch. You’ll find some of the new fighters as well as some old favorites, while there are picks for both beginner and pro players.
Guille
Guille is top of the list on his own because, despite being hard to learn, you won’t find a player who has a bad thing to say about his abilities. You may want to avoid Guille until you’ve really got to grips with the game, but once you do, there’s a lot of fun and satisfaction to be had. HisSonic projectile attacksare second to none, and if you can time them just right, they get even stronger. Add the fact you cancontrol the speed of your projectilesto avoid blocks and he becomes unstoppable in the right hands.
Ken
Of course, Ken is back, and once again, he makes for a super solid choice of fighter. He’s a relatively solid choice for beginners being both strong and quick, with some powerful combos that are relatively simple to land. If you want all-out aggression, you’re going to have a lot of fun with Ken. Get an opponent into a corner, and it’s likely to be goodnight, but his special attacks also land from a surprisingly long distance away, making him a solid allrounder.

Kimberly
Kimberly is thepick of the new charactersintroduced in SF6 and is a great choice for new, inexperienced players. This is because she playsfast and moves wellwhile having asimple set of ability comboswhen compared to most other fighters.Sprintcan quickly get you on top of an opponent, after which you have a choice offive more close-range movesand combos with which to bring home your advantage.
Cammy
Historically powerful, Cammy is back once more in SF6 with her usual classic moves alongsidea few new tricks. HerSpiral Arrowis as strong as ever, but she also hits hard on the ground. Her speed is a real asset, allowing her to close ground on you quickly, after which theHooligan combois hard for any fighter to deal with, often surprising your opponent and creating attack openings once you’re face to face with your opponent.
JP
Another of the new characters, JP makes the top-tier list thanks largely to being soversatile. Like Guille, JP is a tough fighter to master, thanks to him having a great array of bothshort and long-range abilities. But if you can master them, the combination makes him very hard to fight against. He can hit opponents from anyway while also having theability to get away from either short or long-range fighters, which can really frustrate your opponent when played well.
