One of the things I enjoy most about Palia is exploring the world and finding random items in far-flung places that lead to interesting quest lines. Once I’d equipped my first glider, practiced rock climbing, and found some of the geyser pools that fling you high into the air, I realized there were a lot more new places to explore than I’d first thought. One of the quests you can discover is called “Fishing for Answers.” If you’ve not found it yet, or are having trouble completing it, read on for my full quest guide.
How to find the Fishing for Answers quest in Palia
To start the Fishing for Answers quest you need tohead to the east side of theBahari Bay mapand go to the Lighthouse(see my player mark on the map above). Once inside, head into the main ground floor area where you’ll finda table with a red book on it. Approach the table, press F to read the book, flick through the seven pages, and you’ll receive the quest.

How to complete the Fishing for Answers quest in Palia
The quest tasks you with catching and reading three of the lighthouse keeper Faadhil’s letters that were thrown into the sea. What you need to do is head down tothe docks to the east of the lighthouse and fish into the sea. you may fish at any time, butbe sure not to use any bait. I found I got a letter in a bottle roughly one in three casts, alongside Sardines and Bahari Bass.
Once you’ve fished out all three letters,open your inventory and right-click each letter. Once you’ve read all three of the letters, the quest will automatically update to read “Search the lighthouse keepers’ secret plot.”

Open your map to find a large area located in which, somewhere, you’ll find the lighthouse keepers’ secret plot. If you don’t want to spend time searching for it yourself, see my map for the exact location. It ison the rock outcrop to the north that juts up in front of the huge white wall.
The easiest way to get to the secret spot is by climbing back up to the lighthouse, walking to the far north side(as high as you can get), and thenlaunching north on your gliderwith as much momentum as you can get. Once you see the dirt pile in the picture, press F to dig up one final letter and complete the quest. You’ll receive the following rewards:
Note that both the Chocolates and the Lilly can be used tounlock romance questlineswith eligible NPCs. Also, remember to have some free space in your inventory when you complete the quest.
