Affiliations return in NBA 2K24 with a very interesting twist. Affiliations are groups you may join in MyPlayer mode that will allow you to access new areas, gear, and events. Affiliations were first introduced in NBA 2K15 and have changed a lot over the years. In NBA 2K24, there are only two Affiliations that can be joined, but each has unique, exclusive benefits and rewards.
The two Affiliations that can be joined in NBA 2K24 are the Elite and the Rise. Much like in previous 2K games, the Affiliation you join will give access to exclusive courts, event progression, and gear. However, NBA 2K24 adds new aspects to Affiliations that make the choice between Elite and Rise much more important.

Affiliation Gameplay Boosts in NBA 2K24
New to NBA 2K24 is Affiliation Gameplay Boosts. Depending on what Affiliation you join, you will have access to new gameplay boosts that can help your player in MyCareer and in The City. Here are the gameplay boosts that come with joining each Affiliation:
Elite Affiliation in NBA 2K24
The Elite Affiliation focuses on Finishing and Playmaking and has home courts with an outer-space theme. Around the Elite’s courts, you will see futuristic space tunnels, spaceship-themed decorations, and neon designs. The Elite Affiliation can also work together during events to get the top prize over the Rise Affiliation.
Rise Affiliation in NBA 2K24
The Rise Affiliation is all about Shooting and Defense and has Atlantis-themed courts. The Rise Affiliation also features an underwater court with unique designs. Joining Rise will allow you to compete with the group to earn top prizes for seasonal showdowns. Along with the unique home courts and prizes, Rep is returning to each Affiliation.
