In the Like a Dragon: Ishin! Mochi Mystery substory, Ryoma must figure out who is responsible for eating the delicious food items. Here is the solution to the snack caper and which two culprits you need to accuse to complete the side quest.
Who ate the Mochi in Like a Dragon Ishin (Substory 6)
After completingLike a Dragon: Ishin! Chapter 2, you will stumble upon theMochi Mystery substorywhile exploringRakunaiduring Chapter 3: Mibu Wolves. In the mystery mission, an upset Doshin will ask you to interrogate a group to decide which of the five members is responsible for eating his Mochi. Although you are able to eventually narrow down who the two thieves are with deductive reasoning, the quest can be a bit confusing to solve due to the group’s constantly contradicting stories.

Thankfully we have already done the mental gymnastics and have the solution. In theLike a Dragon: Ishin! Mochi Mysterysubstory, thetwo culprits who ate the mochiare HigashiharaandMinamino. To complete the quest, speak to the Doshin, and tell him the name of the two culprits you are ready to accuse. Next, select “Yeah, it has to be” after the game prompts you to double-check your answer. A cutscene will play out with Ryoma doing his best Ace Attorney impression, and then both Higashihara and Minamino will confess to stealing the mochi.
After completing substory 6, you will berewardedwith theGodslayer Talismanand300 virtue points. The Godslayer Talisman is a nine-star crafting material that can be used at the Blacksmith to make powerful weapons later in the game.
