The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features four different dragons, and, much to my delight, I got to hunt them all down. But locating them is not easy, as they are constantly on a changing flight path as soon as they spawn. Light Dragon is definitely the one that interested me the most due to both story purposes and the gains that go with reaching it. In this guide, I will help you locate the elusive creature and learn how to track it down.

You must first learn itsflight pathfirst to track down the Light Dragon in Tears of the Kingdom. As you may see in the image above, its area of flight is significantly larger than the other dragons, encompassing almost all of the surface map. Once it spawns, the Light Dragon will move around the map clockwise, takingtwo hoursto complete this loop fully. Using this map as a reference will make your life of hunting the creature down significantly easier.

The easiest way of locating the Light Dragon in TotK is by initiating theRecovering the Hero’s Swordquest while doing the main story progression, which (spoilers) rewards you with therepaired Master Sword.
