The Legend of Zelda series is large and contains many iconic games, both mainline series and spin-offs. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom looks to continue this tradition, adding new features and bringing back familiar ones. One feature that fans have been wondering about is crafting, leaving the question of if there is a crafting system in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Does The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom have crafting?
Crafting was officially confirmed in Mr. Aonuma’s gameplay demonstration. Fans received a look at the Fuse and Ultrahand abilities. These allow players to craft weapons, shields, arrows, and even vehicles. This is done by combining various items, weapons, and objects. Crafting is a new way to expand Link’s tools andweapons.

The crafting for vehicles consists of attaching various objects together. One recipe is attaching three logs and two fans to create a speedboat raft. It also lets players create flying vehicles. We don’t know the full extent of crafting, but it looks to increase player freedom in how they interact with the world.
Many games are incorporating crafting systems now, so it shouldn’t be surprising that Nintendo added crafting to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Players were able to break and create unique interactions with Breath of the Wild, and the possibilities seem limitless with this new system in the sequel.
