Where to find the 4 Nuclear Fuel Rods in the flooded Barracks

As you enter thefirst flooded sectionof the Barracks, use your Geiger Counter tactical equipment to scan for the Nuclear Fuel Rods. The readings on the device go up as you get closer to the rod. The first rod that I found was in the room to the right, but I’ve also noticed it spawn in the left room. After crossing the first flooded area, you’ll reach themiddle sectionwith three guards and C4 laser traps. Kill the bots and crawl under the lasers to reach the Nuclear Fuel Rod placed on wooden crates.

Now, in the west corner of the same area, you’ll find a hole in the wall blocked by a wooden board. Throw a Semtex or some other explosive to blow it up and enter through the crack. In thissecret flooded sectionof the Barracks, I found three Nuclear Fuel Rods. However, to go deep inside this section and come back alive, you’ll need aRebreather, which you can bring in from Al Mazrah.

In case you don’t have a Rebreather, you’re able to always find the remaining two Nuclear Fuel Rods in thesecond flooded section. Drop down the opening after crossing the laser traps and start searching for the items inside the rooms. This time, there are no air pockets in the rooms so you’ll have to come back to the corridor repeatedly to catch your breath and prevent yourself from drowning.

Once you have four Nuclear Fuel Rods required for the Irradiated Waters mission, you can just extract them from the Chemical Plant orL2 Restricted Zoneelevators. And remember, if you’re having trouble locating the Nuclear Fuel Rods, you can always rely on the Geiger Counter to lead you to them.
