Tounlock Vanellope,open up your quest menu and find the new quest, “The Haunting of Dreamlight Valley.” Unlike other characters, you don’t have to delve into her Realm to unlock her. Therefore, it’s a slightly different process to get Vanellope Von Schweetz in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Here’s how to get started:

The Haunting of Dreamlight Valley quest begins by prompting you to visit Scrooge, who has been frightened by something he saw. You can find him in his shop like always; he’ll tell you to look in Dream Castle, where he thinks he saw a ghost near the fountain.
Sure enough,you’ll find a glitching Vanellope in Dream Castleby walking up the stairs until you reach the main fountain area. She is on the right side of it. Speaking to her will trigger the first quest to start welcoming her into the Valley.
How to unlock Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley - Faith, Trust, and Pixel Dust walkthrough
Vanellope needs your help to enter the Valley, which will require you tocollect a special new currency, Pixel Dust. To do this, you’ll need tocompete in the DreamSnaps challenge. This is a tutorial version, so don’t worry if you don’t have it exactly perfect. To get started, you’ll need tocheck out the themeof this challenge by opening your menu and navigating to the newDreamSnaps menuunder theEventstab.
Decorate space to obtain Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Here you’ll find the theme for the challenge, which for this quest isModern,Wreck-It-Ralph. You’ll need to decorate a space with the appropriate furniture in your Valley. You may or may not have the right themed items already available to you, but that’s okay because those are only suggested themes. I used the Vertical Waterfall from the Wreck-It-Ralph collection and the Fancy Desk Chair. You’ll need5 Playful itemsand5 Familiar items.

You can use thefilterswhen placing furniture down to see all the options in your inventory. Next, pose and take a picture meeting those requirements and submit it to the challenge by pressingRTand thenYon your controller! You’ll also be able to check if you meet all the requirements by looking at the top left corner.
Once you submit your photo, you’ll earn 50 Pixel Dust; head back to Vanellope to turn it in. You’ll also havecompleted the tutorial for the DreamSnaps challenges, meaning you can now complete more of them through the Events page. But to continue welcoming Vanellope into the Valley, head back and speak with her. The last thing she’ll need you to do isplace down a house for her.
Build a house to get Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley
you’re able to place Vanellope’s house anywhere in the Valley, but make sure you have space. Once you place down the frame, head over to it and interact with the Scrooge sign to have him construct it. However, it will cost you40,000 Star Coinsto build. Don’t worry; there are plenty of ways you can earn Star Coins quickly if you don’t have enough right now, like heading to the mine and collecting Gems to sell.
