The Genshin ImpactSecret Summer Paradise eventruns fromJuly 5,2023,to August 16,2023, bringing with it a limited-time area called the Veluriyam Mirage. During the second Summer Serendipity calledSecret Summer Paradise: Part II - Fairground Gathering, Summer Lights Illuminated, you’ll enter a tent that doubles up as a Domain.
I enjoyed this Domain because the puzzles were fairly designed, albeit a little challenging. If you’re having trouble completing it, read on for a full walkthrough of all the limited Chest locations and solutions for all the puzzles inside.
Genshin Impact Fairground Gathering, Summer Lights Illuminated Domain walkthrough – Secret Summer Paradise
Upon entering the tent Domain, you’ll engage in dialogue with the cast. Once that’s done, interact with the spotlight toRotate Lamponce. The curtain in front of you will rise, revealing an area you can explore.
Head further inward and approach the Crystal Light to prompt dialogue with the team, thenturn rightto find a small staircase leading to another spotlight. Climb up and interact with the spotlight. Choose toRotate Lampto trigger a small cutscene.
Once that’s done, glide toward the center of the clearing andpick up the Brilliant Mirror. This will prompt Slimes to spawn. Defeat them using the trial characters provided: Collei and Eula.
After defeating all the Slimes, climb back up the stairs to return to the spotlight that you previously moved. Interact with it again—but this time, selectInstall Brilliant Mirror. The curtain up ahead will open, allowing you to explore further inside.
Follow the path that just opened up. You’ll spot anExquisite Chest. Don’t forget to loot it, as you can’t re-enter the Domain to claim it after leaving. Once that’s done, keep following the path up the stairs to trigger dialogue with the missing Lawrence noble.

After the dialogue segment, go up the stairs and climb the wooden ladder further upward. You’ll find yourself in a new clearing with a few closed curtains. Start by interacting with the nearby spotlight and selectingRotate Lamp once.
Next, head to theother sideof the clearing, where you’ll find a second spotlight and two Brilliant Mirrors. Follow the steps below in order:
The curtain to the left will lift, revealing a Hydro Eidolon, which will transform into a Preprint puzzle.
Preprint puzzle #1
Interact with theStreaming Projectorto enter the Preprint world. Unlike previous Preprint puzzles, you don’t need to move objects outside but need to find the exit amid a confusing maze. I needed a few tries to get this right, so follow the steps below to solve the puzzle quickly.
As soon as you enter the Preprint world, interact with the first hat to enter the second room.
You’ll find four hats in the second room. Start by interacting with the second hat to the left, where the arrow is pointing in the first image above. Doing so will open up a lower level, revealing yet another hat. Interact with the bottom left hat, as pictured in the second image above.
Note: The second image above looks different as I interacted with the two hats on the right prematurely and had to redo this portion of the puzzle. Ignore the right side and focus on where the arrows are pointing.
You’ll be directed to the upper right segment of the first room. Follow this exact order:
Now that you’re back in the second room, interact with the hat on the rightmost side. Keep in mind that the image above shows the bottom left hat untouched as I had messed up the initial order of the puzzle, but please only pay attention to the arrows for this walkthrough.
Interacting with the rightmost hat will reveal an elevator. Follow this order:
You’ll be transported to the lower right section of the first room, allowing you to access the door. Interact with the door to exit the Preprint world, completing the puzzle.

Upon exiting the Preprint world, jump down to the first spotlight. Interact with it and selectInstall Brilliant Mirrorto lift the second curtain in the room.
Head toward the curtain that just opened to explore further into the Domain. Don’t forget to claim theExquisite Chestimmediately, as you won’t be able to return if you missed it. Once that’s done, go up the stairs and the wooden ladder to trigger dialogue with the team.
After the dialogue segment, you’ll find yourself in front of a spotlight.Do not interact with the spotlight. Instead, head to the second spotlight northwest, where the arrow is pointing above.
Follow the steps below in order:
Next, return to the first spotlightsoutheast of the area. First, select Install Brilliant Mirror. Then, select Rotate Lamp. Doing so will lift the curtain on the northwest and unlock a Preprint puzzle.
Preprint puzzle #2
Head northwest once again and interact with the Streaming Projector to enter the Preprint world.
This challenge is very simple and works more so like a mini-game than an actual puzzle. Your goal is to run and jump toward the portal on the right side of the screen whileavoiding the rolling ballsby jumping over them at the right time. If you accidentally touch a rolling ball, your HP bar (bottom of the screen) will decrease. Draining it will result in a game over. You must complete two rounds to exit the Preprint world and complete the puzzle.
As soon as you exit the Preprint world, you’ll spot a blue Brilliant Mirror nearby.Pick up the blue Brilliant Mirror, then interact with the spotlight beside it: Install Brilliant Mirror, then Rotate Lamp. Doing so will trigger a cutscene, completing all the puzzles in the Domain.
