To finish The Remembering and restore the Valley from the Forgotten’s evil voids, you’ll need to completeThe Dark Castle quest. This means delving into the Night Thorn-infested castle and facing The Forgotten themselves. However, to do so, you’ll need to make it through three puzzle doors. The second door will put your cooking skills to the test because Doorine is one picky eater with some pretty hefty demands but don’t worry cause I’ve got you covered.
How to get through the Doorine door in the Dark Castle in Dreamlight Valley
To make it through the second door of the Dark Castle, you’ll need to play chef to the guardian of the door, Doorine. The only thing is, Doorine doesn’t want just any meal. In fact, Doorine has some hefty demands on what she enjoys and what she doesn’t. According to the little hint note, Doorine likes it simple buthates having bad breath. She likes something withextra crunchandwell-seasoned. However, shewill not eat anything that isn’t grown there in the Castle. Using these hints, we can piece together what to make by taking a look at what ingredients we have to use:
Doorine doesn’t like bad breath, so it’s safe to say Garlic is a no-go. She likes it well-seasoned, so salt is a must. Dark Castle Lettuce is grown right in the Castle, according to its name, and for a little extra crunch, she must want some Thorn Sprouts. Even though I was first confused that the Thorn Sprout does not say the name Dark Castle, I did figure out that Night Thorns are technically growing everywhere in the Castle, thus still safe for Doorine’s preference. With that being said, we can make aNight Thorn Sprout Saladto feed her.
