The Duel! The Summoners' Summit! event in Genshin Impact runs fromMay 25,2023,to June 19,2023, taking the Traveler and Paimon around Teyvat to experience the King of Invokations Grand Prix. During the event, you can take part in a plethora of mini-games, including the Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Invoker. I found this to be a little trickier than the earlier rendition of Felix Yogue’s Evermotion Mechanical Painting, but it’s still a fun puzzle nonetheless. Here’s how to solve it.
How to unlock Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Sumeru I in Genshin Impact
To unlock the Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Invoker mini-game in Inazuma, you need to complete the final Event Quest calledCulminate! Chatter of Joyous Dreamsto unlock the TCG venue in Port Ormos. In addition, you also need to complete all Evermotion Mechanical Painting puzzles in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma, in the exact order below:
Once you’ve done all of the above, head to the King of Invokations competition venue in Port Ormos to begin solving puzzles in the region.

Genshin Impact Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Sumeru I puzzle solution
Interact with the Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Sumeru I display in Port Ormos to begin the puzzle. Upon starting, selectSurface Iand click on theSwap Surfacesbutton on the right of the screen. Then, click on thediagonalswap icon to change the positions of the upper left and lower right plates.
Next, move on to Surface II and click on theSwap Surfacesbutton on the right of the screen. Then, click on thehorizontalswap icon to change the positions of the two plates at the bottom.
Skip Surface III as it’s already positioned correctly. Instead, jump directly toGear Column 1and select aLarge Gear. Reference the image above for how the puzzle should look at this point.
Next, click onGear Column 2and select aMedium Gear. Reference the image above for how the puzzle should look at this point.
you’re able to skip Gear Column 3, as it’s already in the correct position. Switch toGear Column 4and slot aMedium Gearinto place. Reference the image above for how the puzzle should look at this point.
Finally, click onGear Column 5and place the secondLarge Gear. Doing so will prompt all of the cogs to move, completing the puzzle.
