Originally teased in some of theearliest WWE 2K23 information released, this year’s Showcase mode allows players to go up against perhaps the biggest name in WWE history, John Cena. Not only that, but in Showcase mode the matches feature some of the most electrifying in this wrestler’s career.
The first match in John Cena’s Showcase is his classic 2006 ECW match against Rob Van Dam for the WWE Championship, a challenge where you will have to defeat Cena while completing certain objectives. One of these objectives is much more confusing than the others, requiring aCorkscrew Leg Dropto complete, confusing many players as it doesn’t say how to perform one. However, below you can find instructions on when and how to perform this specific move.
What is a Corkscrew Leg Drop and how do I perform one in WWE 2K23?
The objective appears
It is important to note that this objective isnot required to complete the fight, so if you simply want to defeat John Cena you’re able to do so without completing any objectives. However, the objective must be completed in order to get the 100% completion achievement for Showcase mode.
While you need to complete a Corkscrew Leg Drop during the fight against John Cena, unfortunately, you cannot do so at any given point. Instead, you need tocomplete the other objectives until the Corkscrew Leg Drop objective appears on-screen.

How to perform the Corkscrew Leg Drop
