I’ll be the first to admit that I am not the best at dodging or parrying in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I prefer hiding in the bushes and firing arrows where enemies can’t reach me. But when I land a perfect dodge and can unleash a Flurry Attack, it does feel so satisfying. How to Perfect Dodge in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To perform a perfect dodge and commence a Flurry Attack in Tears of the Kingdom, you mustlock onto an enemy and then dodge at the exact moment. This is just before the attack strikes you. If you dodge too soon, Link will simply avoid the attack, and dodging too late leaves Link getting struck. If you time the dodge perfectly, time will slow down, and Link can unleash a series of rapid attacks in a Flurry Rush.

What is Flurry Rush in Tears of the Kingdom?
Flurry Rush is one of Link’s strongest attacksthat also allows him to safely attack enemies. It can inflict great damage and even leave enemies stunned. I recommend practicing timing against various enemies, starting with Bokoblins, as they are weaker and have different attack patterns. Most enemies will telegraph their attacks, so you’re able to watch and learn the timing.
One thing to note is that your weapons still lose durability during Flurry Rush, meaning they can break. If this happens, you’ll need to switch to another weapon or be defenseless. Feel free toremap the buttonsif you’d prefer a different layout to master perfect dodging, or you can be like me and just shoot enemies from afar with the bow.
