Some items in the game can be difficult to track down, as you won’t know exactly what item set you’ll need to keep combining to create it. Merge Mansion—Car Hood Ornament Guide
The Car Hood Ornament is the level eleven item of the item chain that drops from theMakeup ToolsItem set. To obtain Makeup Tools, you’ll need to completeLindsay’s New York Storyevent, which unlocks once you’ve obtained the Car Hood Ornament task near the end of cleaning out the garage.

Lindsay’s New York Story event can only be started after completing the Ignatius Boulton event. You’ll need to start the event from theCalendarmenu in the upper left hand corner of the map screen. The event lasts for three days. After it is finished, you can claim the Makeup Tools that you’ve earned and start Lindsay’s New York Story again. You’ll need to play through the event at least twice to obtain the highest level Makeup Tool item, theLarge Cosmetic Brush.
