To celebrate the addition of Flakes Power to the Fortnite Icon Series, Epic Games is giving away an emote free of charge. To obtain the Flakes Grin emoticon, players have to tune into an eligible Twitch stream for 20 minutes.
How to get the Flakes Grin emote for free in Fortnite
To link a Twitch account to an Epic Games account, players must head to the Epic Games website and look attheir connected accounts. Twitch will be an option to link there, and all players have to do is log in and it’s all set. A list of eligible streamers was given out by Epic Games, so justcheck this directoryand click on any of the names listed for the emote. Once that’s done, just enjoy the stream and that’s it.

Players who have already claimed Twitch Drops for Fortnite in the past likely don’t have to take any extra steps as their accounts are already linked, but first time players will need to link their Twitch account to their Epic Games account. Luckily, it doesn’t take too much time to get everything set up.
How to claim the Flakes Grin emote in Fortnite
Watching for 20 minutes will be enough to earn the emote, and a notification will pop up once that goal is met. From there, players have to head to their drops inventory on Twitch and claim the emote.
It’s smooth sailing from there as players just have to log into Fortnite and they’ll find the emote waiting for them upon login. They can then assign it to their emotes if they want to, or they can just let it go to their locker for use at a later time.
