The Cross is a peculiar item in Sons of the Forest that really only has one use. When playing through the game, it will do nothing until the last section of the story. It is easily missable as well, making the gimmick not too well known to players trying not to look up too much about the game. It is located in the same cave as the Rope Gun but doesn’t require the same items to obtain. This is where to find the Cross in Sons of the Forest.
Where to find the Cross in Sons of the Forest
The Cross can be found in the same cave as theRope Gunin Sons of the Forest and is found above the third green marker on the map. This is also very near where theStun Batoncan be found and can be used as an indicator. Inside the cave, a number of enemies will attempt to attack the player. Rather than going to the left and exploring the rest of the cave, the Cross can be found on the opposite side by a corpse.

To get through the rest of the cave, theRebreatheris required. Bone and Leaf Armor can help deal with the enemies in both caves and are easy to craft. ThePistolmay help players deal damage at a range and isn’t too far from the cave.
At the end of the game, players will receive hints as to how they can use the Cross, but it will only work at that point. You also need a few more items if you want to succeed in leaving the Island in Sons of the Forest, such as theGolden Armorand theVIP Keycard.
