The questline for preparing this hatching is called Warmth and Comfort. In it, we need to obtain an Obsidian Gemstone for the nest we’re making. Unsure of how exactly to do this? Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Where to get the Obsidian Gemstone in WoW Dragonflight
Obsidian Gemstone can be found at theArchivist Edresslocated at theObsidian Citadelin theWaking Shores zone. As mentioned, obtaining an Obsidian Gemstone is a requirement for the Warmth and Comfort portion of the questline.
Speak with him and inquire about obtaining additional materials for the hatchling nest. He will graciously offer up Obsidian Gemstone you’ve been searching for.
Where to get Warmed Coal in WoW Dragonflight
The Warmth and Comfort questline doesn’t just require an Obsidian Gemstone. You’ll also need to collect fiveWarmed Coalfor your hatchling’s next. Thankfully, if you’ve already gone to the Obsidian Citadel for the gemstone, you’re very close to the Warmed Coal already. Head to theBurning Ascentfrom the citadel and search for glowing piles of coal on the ground. You’ll need to need with troublesome Oalashi brutes surrounding the area. However, they should be easily dispatchable for you by this point in the expansion.

Where to find a Crystalline Shell in WoW Dragonflight
The final item needed for the hatchling nest and the Warmth and Comfort quest is the Crystalline Shell. Thankfully, this item is also easily obtained at no monetary expense on your part.
