Claire’sShimmerVille, similar toAdopt MeorLivetopia, is an RPG/lifestyle experience that allows players to adopt adorable pets, buy and customize their own house, work their dream job, and so much more. How to unlock all free items in ShimmerVille
The list below details all of the free items that have ever been available inside of Shimmerville. To learn more about these items, continue reading past this list.
Discoball Head
The Discoball Head is a like-based UGC item that can be obtained for free for a limited time. To claim this item, simply walk up to the red carpet pictured below and press R.
Upon doing so, you should automatically receive the Discoball Head and its corresponding badge.
Christmas Tree Suit
To earn the Christmas Tree Suit, players must speak to Santa Claus and complete allfiveof his limited-time quests. For a quick look at how to complete these quests, continue reading below.
Collect 50 Snowflakes
Snowflakes can be found in presents or collected as they fall from the sky. To complete this quest quickly, we’d suggest just searching the map for the presents rather than waiting for it to snow, as each one contains 15 snowflakes. Once you’ve collected 50, return to Santa and talk to him to move onto the next quest.
Collect 8 Presents
This next set of presents can only be found inside the Claire’sC-Style Mall—the presents that we just collected around the map donotcount toward this quest! Once inside the mall, find and collect the eight presents easily by looking out for white outlines. These outlines will show through walls and lead you to the exact location of a present. Once you’ve collected eight presents, return to Santa and talk to him to move onto the next quest.
Complete a Pet Task
To complete a pet task, notice the icons that appear at the top of your screen. When one pops up, hover over it to read its description. To complete the task, simply do whatever its description says. In our case, the pet task that needed to be completed was giving our pet a bath. After the bath was finished, the task and quest were as well.
Decorate your house with Holiday Cheer
This quest is much easier than it may seem. First, travel to Bungalow Valley and claim a plot if you don’t have one already. Then, enter your house and access theXmas Treeitem from theMiscellaneous Buildsection. When you’ve found it, place it anywhere inside of your house to complete the quest.
With all five quests completed, return to the map’s main area and speak to Santa Claus once more. Upon doing so, you will be given the Christmas Tree Suit item!
Sleepy Honey The Unicorn Backpack
The Sleepy Honey The Unicorn Backpack item is unlocked after completing allfiveof MeganPlays' in-game quests. For a quick look at how to complete these quests, continue reading below.
Find Something Shiny
To complete this quest, simply enter the mall and look for theClaire’s Pierce and Shimmer Jewelrystore. Inside of this store on the ground will be a small bag that you can pick up by pressingE. Bring this bag back to MeganPlays to complete the quest.
Find Something Sweet
To complete this quest, enterClaire’s Cafe Cornerand look for a sparkling pink donut on the counter. Pick up this donut by pressingEand bring it back to MeganPlays to complete the quest.
Level Up a Pet
The way in which this quest is completed is totally up to you. You can either purchase a new pet and raise them from level one to level two, or use one that you already have and raise their level one higher. In most cases, raising the level of a new pet is easier than raising one of a pet you already have, but the choice is up to you. To raise a pet’s level quickly, be sure to keep an eye on their needs—every time a new icon appears at the top of your screen, you have a chance to give your pet XP.
Obtain 1K Claire Coins
This quest is pretty easy; the best way to complete it is by checking yourtask menuand doing whatever ones you can! Be sure to also keep an eye on your pay checks, as they’ll award you 400 Claire Coins every 10 minutes or so.
Makeover!
This quest is completed by playing one round of the Glam & Hair, Hair Salon minigame. To be successful at this minigame, simply pay attention to what each customer wants and do exactly as they ask. After a few minutes of satisfying customers, the minigame will end and the quest will be completed!
That’s all there is to it! Now, simply return to MeganPlays to receive the Sleepy Honey The Unicorn Backpack item!
Burdy Backpack
The Burdy Backpack can be earned by visitingOrb For Saleand claiming a free, in-game pet. To claim your free pet, spawn into ShimmerVille and follow the purple arrows that appear on your screen. If you don’t have purple arrows, that’s ok! Activate them by pressing the car button on the right.
Eventually, these arrows should direct you to the Orb For Sale store.
Upon entering this store, you should see the Cashier NPC pictured below. Speak to this NPC to open the store’s menu.

With this menu open, select the Mossy Pet Orb and then selectClaim.
After a brief cutscene, you should automatically receive theOpened Pet Orbbadge and Burdy Backpack item.
Stuffy Cat Hat
The Stuffy Cat Hat is earned by playing the Claire’s Cafe minigame. To find Claire’s Cafe, look for the massive dessert-themed building pictured below.
As soon as you enter the cafe, you should notice a green circle that acts as a loading area for theCafe Barista (Easy)minigame. Enter this circle to be teleported inside of the minigame.
Once you’ve loaded inside of the minigame, you should automatically earn thePlayed a Minigamebadge and Stuffy Cat Hat item!
