Along with its new experience,PacSun Los Angeles Tycoon, PacSun has also brought tons of free items to the platform, which can be earned by following along with our guide below.UPDATE: This event has ended and the items can no longer be obtained!
How to earn all free items in PacSun Los Angeles Tycoon
The list below highlights all of the free items that have ever been available inside PacSun Los Angeles Tycoon and how to obtain them. For more detailed explanations, continue reading past this list.
PacSun DTLA Varsity Jacket
In classic tycoon fashion, all the items in PacSun Los Angeles Tycoon are earned after expanding your world a designated amount. Upon spawning into PacSun Los Angeles Tycoon, you should notice a yellow circle on the ground—stepping onto this circle will place the first piece of your tycoon and allow you to continue progressing.
As more circles appear, continue stepping on them to expand your tycoon. To reach the area where the PacSun DTLA Varsity Jacket is, you’ll need to grind for awhile—enough to unlock thefinalpart of the pier in theBeach area! If you run out of money and need more to purchase new circles, simply locate the ATM pictured below and step on the small platform in front of it. Doing so will automatically collect all the money your businesses have passively earned while you were building.
Once you’ve completed the pier, the NPC pictured below should spawn in. Speaking to this NPC will begin the Treasure Hunt Quest, which asks you to find four missing map pieces and then use said pieces to find the secret treasure.
The locations of the map pieces are as follows:
If for some reason one of the map pieces doesn’t show up, you’ll need to leave the experience and rejoin—doing so should respawn the piece. After collecting the final piece, head to the left side of the beach (if you’re facing the ocean) and look for the blue button labeled “Strange Stone” pictured below.
Step on this button to begin building the path to Treasure Island.
On this island should be a cave with a large treasure chest inside—interact with this chest to complete the treasure hunt and earn the PacSun DTLA Varsity Jacket item.

PacSun Aura
To reach the PacSun Aura, we must build through the Hollywood area and construct the theater building.
Inside the theater should be a security guard NPC and a display of the PacSun Aura item.
Speaking with this NPC will begin the VIP Quest, which asks you to find four celebrity NPCs and get their autographs by interacting with them. The locations of these celebrities can be found below.
Once you get the last autograph, return to the security guard NPC and speak to them. Upon doing so, you will unlock the PacSun Aura.
PacSun Red DTLA Varsity Jacket
Of all the free items in this experience, the PacSun Red DTLA Varsity Jacket is the easiest to obtain. To earn it, simply look for the stand pictured below and approach it. If you may’t find it, click thehouseicon at the top of your screen to teleport to the experience’s spawn point—the stand is just across the bridge that’s now in front of you!
It may take a few minutes to appear, but walking into, or clicking on, the yellow circle that surrounds this stand should open theInvitemenu. With this menu open, select anyone on your friends list and click the Invite button next to their name. Doing so will unlock the PacSun Red DTLA Varsity Jacket. That’s all there is to it!

PacSun Bodyguard
The PacSun Bodyguard is unlocked after collecting all six of the letters that make up the wordPacSun. These letters can only be found in the Beach area and most of them can only be reached after you’ve built out a majority of your tycoon. If you have trouble finding them, that’s ok, their locations are listed below.
As soon as you collect the final letter, you will unlock the PacSun Bodyguard item.
PacSun Fire & Ice Aura
The PacSun Fire & Ice Aura is hiding on PacSun Mountain, on top of the PacSun sign! To reach this item, you’ll need to complete the short obby that can be accessed behind the mall in the Hollywood Area. Follow along with us to find it.
To collect this item, simply step onto its yellow circle.
