In Starfield, you’ll encounter enemies from various factions while exploring star systems and planets. One of these factions is House Va’ruun, a religious group, and you’ll meet a few people who belong to it during your playthrough. The most prominent characters include Andreja and Keeper Aquilus, but the enemies from this faction can be tricky to find. Here’s how to find House Va’ruun enemies and ships easily in Starfield.
Where to find Va’ruun enemies and ships in Starfield
Va’ruun enemies are calledVa’ruun Zealotsin Starfield, and you’ll find them easily in theSerpentis star system. Serpentis is far from the settled colonies and has countless Va’ruun faction enemies orbiting its planets and moons. You’ll need a formidable ship with enough fuel storage to make the journey.
Starfield Serpentis System (Map Location)
The Serpentis system can be tricky to find on the map as you’ll have to explore certain star systems before finding a direct path. Check the yellow arrow on the image above to see the precise location of the Serpentis system, along with the names of all the neighboring stars.

Obviously, you’ll need a ton of He-3 fuel to make all these grav jumps to the Serpentis system. It’s best to install larger fuel containers fromLon AnderssenatThe Red MileinPorrima II(Porrima system) before navigating through space.
How to farm loot from Va’ruun enemies in Starfield
Farming Va’ruun enemies becomes easier once you’ve built an outpost on a planet/moon in the Serpentis star system. These enemies will attack your outpost regularly, so it’s ideal to spend some time bolstering your defenses. Adding crew members to your outpost also helps to regulate it better, especially if you are planning to harvest resources and minerals. Preferably you want to recruitcrew NPCswith traits likeOutpost Engineer,Outpost Management, andWeapon Certification.
Likewise, install Ballistic, Laser, and Tick Turrets across the perimeter of your outpost as the first line of defense. Build Security Robots to patrol your outpost, and place them near storages, energy sources (windmills, solar arrays), and harvesters. A well-fortified outpost in the Serpentis system will sustain itself by harvesting raw materials and is much easier to defend against Va’ruun Zealot enemies. I would recommend selecting planets/moons likeSerpentis II,Serpentis IV, andSerpentis V-Dto build your outpost, as these have around eight unique natural resources to harvest.

While orbiting most of the planets in this star system you’ll encounter multiple Va’ruun faction hostile ships. You can eliminate all of them, or leave one ship dead in the water bydestroying its engine.Dockon to the damaged Va’ruun ship with your ship, and infiltrate it to eliminate all the hostiles inside.
This method allows you to farm loot easily from Va’rrun faction enemies, and also get a free ship in the process that you can sell or use later on. These enemies tend to drop a ton of epic and legendary weapons, spacesuits, helmets, and packs. Repeat the process by resting at your outpost to farm Va’ruun Zealots for better loot in Starfield.
