The preferable alternative is to craft aBottomless Shimmer Bucket. You can do this at anAncient Manipulatorby combining 10 Luminite Bars (from defeating the Moon Lord) with a Bottomless Water Bucket (from completing Angler quests). Alternatively, if you have found the Shimmer and have a bottomless Water Bucket, you can use the bucket on the Shimmer Pool to transform it into a Bottomless Shimmer Bucket. With the Bucket, you’ll have apermanent source of Glimmer.
