Before evolving Griffin into Griffin(Ascension), you must first have the unit in your inventory. Like every other powerful unit in Anime Adventures, the only way to get Griffin is by rolling for the character for50 Gemsfrom theSummonsection. Being a Mythical type unit, you need to spend a lot of gems to get Griffin, as it has a rarity of less than0.25%.
To increase your chance, try for the banner under theSpecial Banner/Event Banner sectionand openmultiple packs (x10)instead of one by one. After pulling Griffin from the banners, you will also receive an item calledEgg of the King. This particular item will be later required for evolving Griffin into Griffin (Ascension).
