Starfield is all about space exploration and spacecraft battle is a common aspect of the gameplay. You can disable or destroy enemy ships to claim their cargo. How to run away from a space battle in Starfield
If you’re about to lose a space battle, you can useGrav Jumpto warp through space to another star system so that the enemy can no longer chase you. Grav Jump can be performed from the Starmap and the time to initialize the jump will depend on the power allocated to the Grav Drive (GRV).
