You mustweld the room doors to create shelter in Aliens: Dark Descent. That way, you’ll be sure you’re safe, and that xenomorphs can’t reach you. However, you may only create a shelter in certain areas. Those places are usually marked with a green house icon on the map. But welding is not free, as you need to use a welding tool.

If you don’t have it, you can’t create shelter. In that case, you must find other ways to reduce stress in Aliens: Dark Descent. As you know, in space, no one can hear you scream, and you’re onyour own in this game.
