If you’re anything like me, chances are you’ve been scouring the internet since the release ofProject Slayers' Update 1.5 for any information on the so-called “crafting system,” including how to use it and what it offers. Through my research, I’ve found that the use of the term “crafting” is a bit misleading, and makes the entire concept much more confusing than it needs to be. In short, craftinghas notbeen added to Project Slayers in the typical ways that you and I probably think (e.g., an overarching system that spans the entirety of the experience and uses various recipes, materials, etc.), and rather relates to a specific set of weapons added with Update 1.5—the Devour and Polar weapons.
What is crafting in Project Slayers?
As mentioned above, crafting in Project Slayers likely isn’t what you expect it to be. Instead of having a complete crafting system that allows players to collect materials and craft a variety of weapons, or even gear, like other anime experiences do, Project Slayers instead uses what’s most similar to an upgrade system. With that being said, however, it’s also important to note than only two sets of weapons can be crafted/upgraded using this system—the Devour weapons (Devour Katana, Devour Fans, and Devour Scythe), and the Polar weapons (Polar Katana, Polar Fans, andPolar Scythe).
How to craft weapons in Project Slayers
Once you’ve purchased any of the Devour or Polar weapons, they can then be crafted/upgraded into higher tiers using materials, such as Skinned Hide, Blood Stained Ingots, Frigid Metal, Frost Touched Cloth, etc. The higher tier your weapon, the more powerful it will be, and the better buff/passive it will have.

Crafting requirements in Project Slayers
Unfortunately, the exact requirements needed to upgrade these weapons through each of their tiers are currently unknown. I can, however, list the requirements for purchasing/crafting each weapon in its un-upgraded/base form, and then include some other unconfirmed info that I’ve collected while researching. Some information in this list is missing, or may be changed in the future, but I will be sure to keep it updated so it reflects correct information as I learn more.

Where to craft in Project Slayers
Devour weapons can be crafted/upgraded at the same place where they’re purchased, in Devourers Jaw. Once there, you should see a blacksmith NPC—speak with this NPC to craft/upgrade your weapon to its next tier. Polar Weapons can be crafted/upgraded at the anvil in Frozen Lake, near the Mist trainer location.
