How to start Simba’s Seed of Memories Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To start theSeed of Memories Quest, you need to reachfriendship level seven with Simba. He asks you about his memories and wants to know more about life in the valley before the night thorns took over. Eventually, you need to interact with Scar who gives more insight into Simba’s past in the Valley.
Scar will inform you about the Dreamlight Tree Seeds that sprout into more trees. He says that before the Forgetting you hid it at a safe place, and forbade anyone from trying to find it. Scar says that the Dreamlight Tree Seeds are located somewhere in theVitalys MinesatSunlit Plateau.
Where to find the Herbalist Room in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After visiting the Vitalys Mines, you need to search for the secret Herbalist Room. Go straight after entering through the cave towards the mine wagons. You will come across an entry point glowing with a light blue hue. Check the yellow arrow on the image above to see the entrance to the Herbalist Room.
Once you are inside the Herbalist Room, you must investigate the area to figure out more about Dreamlight Tree Seeds. Interact with the drawings on the wall, and with the table full of beakers and tubes. Next, you need to visit Merlin with the information you gathered from the Herbalist Room.
Speak to Merlin, and he instructs you to find materials to craft the Portion of Growth and the Potion of Dust. To craft these options you’ll need to find the following items.
Blueberrycan be found in theForest of Valorand theDazzle Beachbiome. Similarly, you can obtain theOrange Marsh Milkweedfrom theGlade of Trustbiome. You can craft anEmpty VialwithSandandCoal Ore.

How to make the Potion of Growth and Dust in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Once you have all the items, visit a Crafting Station. At the Crafting Station, open the Potions & Enchantments tab. Craft the Potion of Growth, and the Portion of Dust.
Once that’s done, visit the Herbalist Room in the Vitalys Mines. You must place the Potions in the empty spaces on the table in the Herbalist Room.
Placing the Potions will take you to the next stage of this quest, and you’ll get the Dreamlight Tree Seeds. With the item in your inventory, follow Simba as he shows you the best spot to plant the Dreamlight Tree.

Where to plant the Dreamlight Tree Seed in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Simba says that the Dreamlight Tree will breathe life back into the village, and that you must plant it near the pond at Sunlit Plateau. Visit the small pond located across the wooden bridge at Sunlit Plateau, and dig a hole in front of the water body. Now, plant the Dreamlight Tree Seed in the hole near the pond.
