I felt pretty underwhelmed by the first version of Honkai: Star Rail’s Trailblazer, thePhysical Destruction character, that I was given for free. However, after being able to switch her to a Fire character who follows the Path of Preservation, she’s become a staple of my teams. She can shield, taunt, and does respectable AoE damage in fights against enemies with Fire Weaknesses. Want to see their full kit to understand why? Fire Trailblazer’s Skills in Honkai Star Rail
Basic Attack: Ice-Breaking Light
Single Target—Deals Fire Damage equal to a scaling percentage of the Trailblazer’s Attack to a single enemy and gains one stack of Magma Will.
Blast—Consumes four stacks of Magma Will to enhance Basic Attack, dealing Fire Damage equal to a scaling percentage of the Trailblazer’s Attack to a single enemy and Fire Damage to equal to a scaling percentage of the Trailblazer’s Attack to enemies adjacent to it.
Percentage Scaling
Skill: Ever-burning Amber
Increases the Trailblazer’s Damage Reduction by a scaling percentage and gains one stack of Magma Will, with a 100% base chance to Taunt all enemies for one turn.
Ultimate: War-Flaming Lance
Deals Fire Damage equal to a scaling percentage of the Trailblazer’s Attack plus a scaling percentage of the Trailblazer’s Defense to all enemies. The next Basic Attack will be automatically enhanced and does not cost Magma Will.
Talent: Treasure of the Architects
Each time the Trailblazer is hit, they gain one stack of Magma Will for a max of eight stacks.When Magma Will has no fewer than four stacks, the Trailblazer’s Basic Attack becomes enhanced, dealing Damage to a single enemy and enemies adjacent to it. When the Trailblazer uses Basic Attack, Skill, or Ultimate, apply a Shield to all allies that absorbs Damage equal to a scaling percentage of the Trailblazer’s Defense plus a scaling amount. The Shield lasts for two turns.
Percentage and Amount Scaling
Technique: Call of the Guardian
After using Technique, at the start of the next battle, gains a Shield that absorbs Damage equal to 30% of the Trailblazer’s Defense plus 384 for one turn.

Fire Trailblazer’s Traces in Honkai Star Rail
The Strong Defend the Weak
After using the Skill, the Damage taken by all allies reduces by 15% for one turn.
Unwavering Gallantry
Using Enhanced Basic Attack restores the Trailblazer’s HP by 5% of their Max HP.
Action Beats Overthinking
When the Trailblazer is protected by a Shield at the beginning of the turn, increases their Attack by 15% and regenerates five Energy until the action is over.
