Jing Yuan will have a Light Cone designed specifically for him calledBefore Dawn. It will boost his Crit damage, Skill, Ultimate, and follow-up attack damage. Although, if you want this Light Cone, it can only be obtained from the Light Cone Event Warp, which will cost Special Warp Passes to roll on. If you are a free-to-play player, your resources may be better spent saving for other characters.

For his Planar Ornaments, you have several options. You could choose either theCelestial DifferentiatororInert Salsottosets for their Crit Value Boosts. You could also go with aSpace Sealing StationSet, if it is the most readily available. I personally would choose one of the first two over the latter.
What stats should you boost on Jing Yuan?
Jing Yuan is very much a traditional attacker. You’ll want to emphasize Crit Values and Attack. There will be some diminishing returns on stacking too much attack on any damage dealer, and I recommend you consider using either a Speed Foot Relic piece or a Energy Regen Rate Link Rope piece to deal more damage overall.

This Xianzhou General is a Lightening Element Character who follows the Path of Erudition. His kit centers around a follow-up attack generated by the Lightening-Lord. Because of this, you’ll want to prioritize leveling Jing Yuan’s Talent level whenever possible.
