From Puffskeins to Kneazels to Therstrals, Hogwarts Legacy has a wide array of magical beasts that you can rescue and raise in your own Vivariums. One of the rarest beasts that you can obtain while completing a side quest is a Phoenix. It’s so rare that its feathers are one of only three materials that can be chosen as awand core. Want to know if you can find another somewhere in the wild? Here is what we know.

Can you get more than one Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy?

No, you may’t. After obtaining your first Phoenix at the end of the side questPhoenix Rising, you will not be able to find any other Phoenix habitats in the wild. This means that you will not be able tobreedPhoenixes, either. Don’t worry, no matter how rare or common the beast, they all can only be sold back toBrood and Peckfor 120 Galleons a piece.

Since you only have one Phoenix, it’s important to take good care of it in your Vivarium. When fed and brushed, the Phoenix that you rescue at the end of the quest will producePhoenix Feathers. Instead of selling them to Ollivander’s, you’ll be able to use the at your Enchanted Loom to upgrade your gear. Phoenix Feathers are usually used for high level upgrades. If you are having trouble collecting enough feathers from your solitary Phoenix, your best bet is to purchase more fromshops. There are only two Hamlet shops that sell them, one at Pitt-Upon-Ford, and one at Irondale. Phoenix Feathers cost 700 Galleons a piece.
