In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you may cook different types of meals that can be gifted to companions or consumed to increase energy. When your energy bar is full, it glows with a bright yellow color showing that your character is well-fed. With the Pride of the Valley update, the well-fed bonus will be adjusted to improve certain aspects of the game. Your character will now be able to move faster around the map, and get more chances of critical results while performing different activities.

If your character has thewell-fed bonus active, then you’ll be able tohoveron the map andslide around the valley faster. This significantly improves how you may travel between biomes to complete different quests. Likewise, when thewell-fed bonus is active, your character willgain more chances of critical resultswhile harvesting fruits, catching fish, collecting gems, and performing other activities.
Similarly, a new sitting mechanic is being added to the game with the Pride of the Valley update, and this allows your character to sit down anywhere in the valley to replenish energy slowly. Your character uses energy while performing various activities. Now, the energy you lost can be restored slowly by simply taking a break to sit down and relax.
