The Genshin Impact Shared Sight event runs fromAugust 3,2023,to August 14,2023. During the event, you’ll obtain a Gadget called an Inscribed Mirror, which will show you the point-of-view of various animals in Teyvat. It can be a little hard to locate the little friends if you aren’t familiar with Sumeru’s landscape, so I highly recommend following the guide below to help you find them fast.
How to unlock the Shared Sight event in Genshin Impact
To unlock the Shared Sight event, you must reach Adventure Rank 20 or above and haveaccess to Sumeru. Once you meet this prerequisite, you’ll automatically unlock the Event Quest calledTell me, mirror mirror, which involves talking to a scholar in Chinhat Ravine. Doing so will allow you to complete Shared Sight challenges that unlock gradually throughout the event period.
All animal locations in Eyes Hidden Behind Trees – Genshin Impact Shared Sight event
To begin Shared Sight challenges, you must equip theInscribed MirrorGadget. This will allow you to enter the animals' point-of-views so you can survey the environment.
Once you’re ready, head to the Shared Sight section of the event menu, then select the first challenge: Eyes Hidden Behind Trees. ClickGo to Challengeto prompt a paw-shaped icon to appear in the World Map. Head to the location and interact with the signboard to begin the challenge.

Dusk Bird #1 location
Upon starting,use the Inscribed Mirrorto see the point-of-view of the first animal. You then need to head to the exact area circled in the image above to find the first Dusk Bird.Interact with the Dusk Birdto retrieve it, completing the first objective.
Dusk Bird #2 location
Use the Inscribed Mirror again to see the point-of-view of the second animal. Likewise, head to the exact area circled in the image above to find the second Dusk Bird.Interact with the Dusk Birdto retrieve it, completing the second objective.
Shroomboar location
Once you’ve retrieved the second animal, use the Inscribed Mirror one last time to see the point-of-view of the Shroomboar. Then, head to the exact area circled in the image above, northwest of the challenge area.Interact with the Shroomboarlooking at the waterfalls to retrieve it, completing the challenge. Don’t forget toclaim rewards through the event menu.
