Monstadt’s infamous Windblume Festival runs fromMarch 3,2023,to March 27,2023, and is one of Genshin Impact’s biggest yearly events, bringing new friends and familiar faces into the nation of freedom.
The series of limited-time Event Quests start withA Gathering of Outlanders, where Collei discovers a prophecy in a fairy tale. After completing it, you’re able to immediately begin the next Windblume Encounter called A Riddle Amidst the Crowds.
How to complete A Riddle Amidst the Crowds quest in Genshin Impact’s Windblume event
Upon starting the quest, you need to fast-forward thein-game time to two days later. Once that’s done, talk toSucrose, who’s standing by the fountain in Monstadt. After your conversation, you need to findCollei, who’s located on the stone pathway down the stairs of the cathedral.
Speak with her to put together a list of candidates who could be related to the prophecy. The group will then be split into teams of two, and you’ll be switching POVs in the next segments.

First, you’ll be controlling Sucrose and Collei to find Lisa. Head to theroom beside Wyrattto enter the Knights of Favonius' library. Upon entering, dialogue between the characters will immediately trigger, and you’ll eventually meet up with Albedo, Tighnari, and Cyno. After the exchange, your POV will switch to the Traveler and Paimon.
In this segment, you need to head to the Monstadt bulletin board. Simply go toKatheryne’s locationby the city entrance to find Lisa, Bennett, Razor, and Mika huddled in front of the bulletin board. Approach the group to trigger dialogue, securing their mailbox responses.
Next, you’ll be in control of Sucrose and Collei again. As soon as you get control,climb the small cliff on the left, where the arrow is pointing above. Then follow the path forward until you see Amber, Eula, Noelle, and Klee from a distance. Approach the group to trigger a lengthy conversation, as well as a heartwarming moment between Collei and Sucrose. Once that’s over, you’ll switch to the Traveler and Paimon’s POV again.
You’ll automatically be teleported to Starsnatch Cliff. Simplyclimb the cliff in front of you(where the arrow is pointing above), then follow the path forward to find a glowing spot. Approach it to meet Timaeus, Mona, and Rosaria.
After the conversation, you need to return to theMonstadt crafting bench, where you’ll find Sucrose and Collei setting up the mailbox. When that’s done, head toThe Good Hunterto order food with Paimon. You’ll eventually meet a mysterious foreigner named Scarlett, who seems to have something to do with the prophecy. The quest ends with Rosaria’s suspicion.
