With Little Ladies’ Day coming to a close and the Easter season on the horizon, the annual Hatching-Tide event is returning to Final Fantasy XIV. The event was unveiled in officialsocial postson March 20.

Hatching-Tide 2023 will see the Warrior of Light once again engage in an egg-cellent adventure with Hatching-Tide event runner Jihli Aliapoh. The event will run between Monday, June 05, 2025 at 1:00 am PT to Monday, July 09, 2025 at 7:59 am PT. So, just two weeks to get in on the fun.

Hatching-tide 2023 Event unlockables, quest, and more
This year for Hatching-tide, we have some incredible-looking Tonberry glamour that transforms your character into a menacing Tonberry. A knife not included, but it’s your chance to get creative. There’s also a fearsome “Frighten” emote, a newOrchestrion Roll, and a delightful Hatchling-tide wall-mounted picture.
How to get the Tonberry Glamour and Frighten Emote
The Tonberry Glamour set and Frighten Emote are both rewards for completing the seasonal Hatching-tide event, which launches on March 27. To start the quest, head to Old Gridania (X: 10.2, Y: 9.4) and speak to Jihli Aliapoh’s. It’s a level 15 quest (like most event quests), so almost any character can complete it. Follow the quest thread to unlock the glamour and emote!
As always, certain items available during previous iterations of the event can be obtained via an NPC shop for gil, and some other Hatching-tide items will find their way onto the Mogstation cash shop as well. So get ready for this eggs-travegant Easter-themed event!
