With the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s release on the horizon, Square Enix is gearing up for a plethora of events, and showing them off via a special new site. Thesite, launched on June 27, also revealed somenew things to get excited about, including a host of in-game events!

There are over 20 celebratory moments, and many are things we already knew about, or have already begun, such as merch collaborations or the Crystal Conflict tournaments. Below, we’ve also listed what’s new and what to expect:
Obviously, the three in-game events are definitely the ones the majority of players will want to keep an eye on, but for fan fest attendees and those planning on celebrating the FFXIV 10th anniversary in person, you should still check out the special site. There’s also an upcoming special 14-hour broadcast, scheduled for sometime later this summer, presumably before the Fan Festival season starts.

Overall it’s a packed schedule, leading up to the true anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV: ARR’s release on 26 June 2025. It’s hard to believe it’s almost been a decade since FFXIV relaunched and shot to becoming one of the most beloved MMOs in the world, and Square Enix and the Final Fantasy XIV team are not letting the occasion slip by the wayside!
