It’s time to play some mini-games, triple some triad, and win some prizes, as the Make it Rain ahem I mean, Make it GAIN campaign returns to Final Fantasy XIV. The recurring Make it Rain event has always given players the chance to make some bonus MGP. But this year, it has a muscle-filled twist thanks to Godbert Manderville, the owner and proprietor of the Manderville Golden Saucer. The event was revealed by Square Enix on June 27, across social media.

As per the post above, the Make it GAIN campaign is set to start onJune 30, 2023at 1:00 am to Monday,July 17, 2023at 7:59 am (PDT). During this, you’ll be able to pick up a special quest from Kipih Jakkya at Ul’dah: Steps of Nald (X: 9.4, Y: 9.2). Additionally, there will be a flat bonus of 50% to all MGP during the event.
There’s also an exclusive minion tied to the event. The dashing Wind-up Godbert minion can be unlocked by completing the event quest!

It also takes off its clothes to enter Godbert’s final form. Although having played all of the Hildebrand quests, we’re not quite sure that’s a good thing. Watch out for being suplexed!
During the event, there’ll also be some new and returning items that can be purchased from the new Campaign Attendant who’s stationed at theGold Saucer, (X: 5.3 Y: 6.3).
Honestly, it’s great to get the summer season of FFXIV events kicked off. We’re one major patch away from the end of Endwalker’s content cycle and in the midst of the anniversary event cycle. It’s going to be a great summer to be an FFXIV player, and this is just the beginning!
