The Tier 5 Redacted faction in Call of Duty DMZ usually assigns players tasks related to exploration and combat in the Koschei Complex. However, the Dry Eyes mission requires you to stay in Al Mazrah and get AI enemy, commander, and operator kills in a poor visibility environment. In the following section, I’ve discussed the best way to complete the Dry Eyes mission in DMZ.
Dry Eyes DMZ Mission Guide
For this mission, you need to visit the newly added sandstorm area in Al Mazrah City, the map’s northeastern POI. Although the sandstorm covers a large area, I’ve noticed that the kills only count if you get them in the region highlighted on the map above. This includes the Highrise building, US Embassy, TV Tower, Parking Garage, and their surrounding area.

For instance, in the image above you’ll see a great one-shot build for the FJX Imperium Sniper with the SZ Heatsource 800 thermal scope. You can use any thermal optic of your preference after testing it in the Firing range. Furthermore, grab theSpotter Scopeas your tactical. These two equipment will allow you to spot targets effortlessly in the low-visibility sandstorm.

After you’re inside the Al Mazrah City sandstorm, kill 10 AQ soldiers to complete the first part of the challenge. For the next task, you may visit theUS Embassyand check if thePyro commanderhas spawned there. If you get the Pyro’s notification,unlockthe main section of the building and kill the boss. You’ll have to kill the Pyro in two different matches for this mission.
Alternatively, you can set up a vantage point on a tall building in the area and scout the area for any operator squads. Al Mazrah City is a hot POI with multiple squad spawns, so you’ll most likely run into real players here. Also, keep an eye on the Parking Garage entrance to Koschei Complex as players visit that often. Kill 2 enemy operators and the Dry Eyes mission will be over.
