This left me wondering if there is multiplayer or co-op in Aliens: Dark Descent.
Is Aliens Dark Descent Multiplayer?
The answer is no—Aliens: Dark Descentdoes not have multiplayer. It is a single-player experience and has no multiplayer option. Despite having multiple characters to control in the campaign, you are all alone in commanding your soldiers. If you need help, make sure youplay the tutorialto learn the basics and be at your best command.

Can you play Aliens Dark Descent Co-op?
Just as there is no multiplayer mode, the Aliens: Dark Descentcampaign is single-playerand can only be played by one person. Throughout the story, you command multiple units and must act on your own initiative. While many fans want co-op in Aliens: Dark Descent, developer Tindalos Interactive has decided not to include this feature.
Will Aliens Dark Descent get Multiplayer Co-op?
At the time of writing, Tindalos hasnot announced any plansto add co-op or multiplayer to the game. This does not mean the feature won’t come in an update, but there is no guarantee that Aliens: Dark Descent will gain co-op or multiplayer. However, some dedicated fans may add this with a mod, but again, there is no guarantee. Aliens: Dark Descent is exclusively single-player and remains so for the foreseeable future.
