In Call of Duty DMZ, you must complete various missions for different factions; some of these challenges require you to complete objectives on separate maps.
Substantial Findings is a Tier 3 Black Mous faction mission that takes place onAl MazrahandAshika Island. I died a few times trying to complete this faction mission, but thanks to that, now you’ll know the mistakes to avoid and can complete this mission faster. Here’s how to complete the Substantial Findings mission in DMZ.
All objectives in the Substantial Findings mission in DMZ
The Substantial Findings mission hasthree objectivesyou need to complete. You need to acquire a couple of tracking devices found insidetwo different dead drops on the Al Mazrah and Ashika Islandmaps.
For Al Mazrah, you must visit the Al Sharim Pass dead drop to collect the tracker and plant it on a submarine found at the Hafid Port POI (point of interest). Likewise, for Ashika Island, you must visit the Town Center dead drop to collect the tracker and plant it on the submarine found inside the Ashika Island Waterways. Here are the mission objectives you’ll see in the game.

Where to get the Tracking Device for Substantial Findings on Al Mazrah DMZ
To start the Substantial Findings mission, matchmake into Al Mazrah Island, and visit theAl Sharim Pass POI. Keep in mind the Al Sharim POI is full of AI combatants, and these guys mean serious business. The AI bots in this area carry good weapons and have body armor, so you need to be extra careful while executing them. Once you are at the POI, visit theAl Sharim Pass dead droplocated at theG6 coordinate(check the yellow circle on the map image above to see the exact location of the dead drop). Interact with the dead drop and take the Tracking Device into your backpack.
Al Mazrah Island Submarine location in DMZ
After collecting the Tracking Device, you need to visit the Hafid Port POI and locate the submarine in the area. TheSubmarineis inside awarehouse on map coordinate C5(check the yellow circle on the first image above to see its exact location). Get on top of the Submarine and place the Tracking Device at the location shown in the second image above. This will complete the first objective of the Substantial Findings mission.
Where to get the Tracking Device for Substantial Findings on Ashika Island in DMZ
The next part of this faction mission requires you to travel to theAshika Islandmap. Once on Ashika Island, visit theTown Center POIlocated on the northwestern side of the map. You need to look for thedead dropat the Town Center, which is located at theE4 map coordinate(check the yellow circle on the image above to see the exact location of this dead drop). Be careful, as this area is crawling with AI forces and possibly enemy operators. Collect the Tracking Device in your backpack and head for the Ashika Island Waterways.

Ashika Island Submarine location in DMZ
The Submarine is located inside a tunnel at the Ashika Island Waterways located on the southern side of the map. I recommend getting an RHIB, Jet Ski, or Armored Patrol Boat while traveling inside the tunnel. The Submarine is kept at the center of the tunnel; you might also encounter a Juggernaut in this area. Get on top of the Submarine, plant the tracker, and quickly exit the area to complete the Substantial Findings faction mission in Call of Duty DMZ.
