I’ve played Darkest Dungeon 2 for a very long time in early access, even before it launched the 1.0 version. While the fights were great, I often had problems with enemies refusing to die while on Death’s Door (i.e. when they survive a killing blow). It became annoying, especially in tough battles where you’re one hit away from defeat. Luckily, this is addressed in Darkest Dungeon 2 hotfix 1.00.50092, among other things. Here are the full patch notes, so you know how to approach enemies from now on.

Darkest Dungeon 2 1.00.50092 Update Notes

If you’re new to Darkest Dungeon II, you may feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of choices you can make. But at the same time, you’ll be frustrated by the lack of skill points (Candles of Hope) you’ll get in the early game. Darkest Dungeon 2 1.00.50092 update alleviates the pressure by giving new players more candles in the first five runs.
