The first part of the Commanding Intel mission requires you to complete the Secure Intel contract, which is denoted by the folder icon on the green contract phone (as shown in the first image). After you accept the contract, the location of ahard drivewill be marked on your map.
Pick up the hard drive from the laptop in the designated area and the contract objective will be updated to a nearbytower. Climb up this tower and interact with the machine tobegin uploading. How to ping a commander in DMZ
Commandersin DMZ are the main bosses you may kill for additional rewards (e.g. a weapons case or gold skulls), and spawn every match at a random location on the map; you can locate these bosses with their unique icons on your tac map. Once you spot a commander, simply press theping button(up on the D-pad or L-Alt on keyboard) to mark them. Although this should complete the mission, I suggest you kill the boss for some handsome rewards and loot.
Al Mazrah has four commanders:Chemist, Pyro, Armored Commander / Juggernaut, and Commander Helo / Boss Chopper, while Ashika Island has theBombmakerwho spawns in Tsuki Castle every game. As forKoschei Complex, it housesthe Rhinoceros and the Sniper.
