Basim is a Hidden One fighting with a sword and dagger in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, meaning you’ll need a pair of weapons to be most effective. Below I’ve listed the best weapons to use in AC Mirage, including sword and dagger,.
AC Mirage - Best Swords, ranked
1. Rostam Sword
The Rostam Sword is the best weapon in my opinion, as it increases the damage of chain strikes (performing them increases the amount of damage you do). Tougher enemies make this weapon especially useful, but you can still notice the effect when facing weaker foes.
2. Shamsir-e Zomorrodnegar
Using the Shamsir-e Zomorrodnegar sword is a gamble but greatly increases your damage. You’ll need to play more carefully, as each strike is more deadly because of your reduced health. If it didn’t halve your health, I’d put this as the best weapon, but it still gives the Rostam Sword a run for its money.
3. Initiate of Alamut Sword
Despite being the starting sword, the Initiate of Alamut Sword is a good weapon. The additional damage after a perfect parry is a good tool when you are caught in combat. Upgrading the Initiate of Alamut Sword increases the damage dealt.

4. Zanj Uprising Sword
The Zanj Uprising Sword functions similarly to the Initiate of Alamut Sword, only it affects perfect dodges instead ofparries. You still gain the additional 50% damage boost, which is also increased through upgrading the weapon.
5. Hidden One Sword
The Hidden One Sword is a must for poison builds. Even those not relying on poison will find use in it. With the Hidden One Sword equipped, you can poison your foes and retreat while they die on their own or take advantage of the building damage.
AC Mirage - Best Daggers, ranked
1. Samsaama
The Samsaama is, without a doubt, the best dagger in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Every strike heals Basim, and there is no downside to using it. It also comes fully upgraded, meaning it requires no material to increase its potency.
2. Dagger of Time (Deluxe Edition)
Combined with the Initiate of Alamut Sword, the Dagger of Time turns you into a time-bending warrior of death. On its own, it’s still quite good, allowing you to act freely for several seconds; whether you wish to deal damage or retreat is up to you.

3. Initiate of Alamut Dagger
The Initiate of Alamut Dagger turns your defense into offense by damaging foes when you parry. I recommend pairing this with the Initiate of Alamut Sword for maximum effectiveness on your parries, especially if you find yourself in combat often.
4. Zanj Uprising Dagger
The Zanj Uprising Dagger is perfect for those who prefer to dodge rather than parry; it actively rewards you for perfect dodges. Basim’s actions require stamina, leaving him vulnerable when it depletes; with the Zanj Uprising Dagger, you’re able to prevent using all of your stamina.
5. Hidden One Dagger
The Hidden One Dagger is mostly intended forpoison builds, as its effect requires an enemy to be poisoned. Avoid this dagger unless you intend to use poison, but it becomes incredibly powerful when paired with poison tools and the Hidden One Sword.
