While there are many elements in Blasphemous 2, I found Rosary Beads the most helpful. This collectible item was discovered all throughout Cvstodia and could be equipped to increase the Penitent One’s various stats, abilities, and more. As such, I’ve listed all the Rosary Beads I’ve found in Blasphemous 2, as well as ranked them.

Rosary Beads are an important part of Blasphemous 2, as they offer passive buffs throughout your playthrough. Here are the best Rosary Beads to use in Blasphemous 2.
S Tier
Votive Offering of a Hopeful Mother
Having resistance to all elemental damage is a powerful tool, as many of the enemies you encounter can dish out massive amounts of these damage types. There are Beads that greatly increase a single elemental resistance, but this Bead gives you a touch of defense against them all.
Embossed Rat Skull
Martyrdom Points are a crucial currency in Blasphemous 2, allowing you to upgradeyour three weapons. This Bead increases the rate at which you find them, thus allowing you to upgrade your weapons more efficiently. This Bead never left my Rosary, and I recommend it.
Scratched Face from the Canvas
The Scratched Face from the Canvas is the best Rosary Bead to protect you from Mystical damage. With the increased resistance from this Bead, you’re able to withstand more attacks from Mystical enemies.
Compass of the Stranded
Like the Scratched Face from the Canvas, this Rosary Bead will greatly protect you from Miasma damage. Using this Bead against enemies with this damage type will save your health and keep you from restarting.
Imprint of Scalopendra
Imprint of Scalopendra is another Rosary Bead that provides resistance to Fire damage but with the greatest bonus. When encountering numerous fire-based enemies, I recommend equipping this Bead to reduce some of the damage.
Votive Offering Claimed by Rust
When it comes to defensive Beads, the Votive Offering Claimed by Rust is one of the best. It provides resistance to all elements, which can be combined with individual elemental resistance Rosary Beads for more protection.
Sphere Kissed by the Storm
For facing Lightning-based enemies, the Sphere Kissed by the Storm is the go-to Bead. It offers the greatest resistance to Lightning damage and makes the other Beads with the same perk obsolete.
Pewter Tears
The Pewter Tears Rosary Bead is the best choice for reducing physical damage. With the Pewter Tears equipped, you will take less damage when struck by enemies that use physical attacks, which just may save your life.
Chisel-Engraved Wounds
The Chisel-Engraved Wounds is a must for completionists. This Rosary Bead will emit a noise when you are near hidden and secret pathways. With this Bead, you can identify secret routes and ensure you collect everything in the game or at least have an easier time.
Obulus of Proximo
Tears of Atonement are crucial for purchasing Rosary Beads, quest items, and more. Equipping the Obulus of Proximo ensures you get the most of this currency and purchase all items sold by merchants in Blasphemous 2.
A Tier
Salt-covered Spear Point
Physical damage is unavoidable, so having this Bead helps keep you healthy. Physical damage includes a lot of enemy attacks and traps in Blasphemous 2, so this will protect you from many dangers. Combining this with the Votive Offering of a Hopeful Mother ensures you have plenty of damage resistance.
Bead of Whimsical Essence
The Bead of Whimsical Essence is a stronger version of the Broken Bell and provides greater resistance to Mystical damage. I recommend swapping to this Bead when in areas containing enemies and bosses that inflict Mystical damage to increase your longevity.
Deformed Rat Skull
This Bead is a lesser version of the Embossed Rat Skull and gives slightly fewer Martyrdom Points. It is still a great Bead to use, as it will help you upgrade your weapons quickly. Just be ready to swap this out for the upgraded version once you collect it.
Earring of Regret
The Earring of Regret is an enhanced version of the Vitrified Lightning Bolt. Both increase your resistance to Lightning damage, but the Earring of Regret provides more, making it the superior version. Keep this Bead on hand when facing enemies with Lightning attacks.

Scorched Lily
With the Scorched Lily, you gain increased resistance to Fire damage, making it a stronger version of the Lips of the Golden Mask. When facing off against enemies with Fire attacks, this Bead will protect you and prevent some damage.
Ill-fated Cord
Like many Beads, the Ill-fated Cord provides resistance to a type of damage. With this Bead equipped, you gain increased resistance to Miasma damage, making it perfect against enemies using this damage type. The Ill-fated Cord is the better version of the Perforated Liar’s Tongue.
Price of Blood
Like the Rat Skull’s, the Price of Blood increases the rate at which you gain a type of currency. Tears of Atonement are the currency used at Cvstodia’s various merchants, so having the Price of Blood equipped to get more is incredibly helpful.
Scratched Lead Sphere
The Scratched Lead Sphere is a lesser version of the Salt-covered Spear Point. Still, having resistance to physical damage will go a long way and prevent some damage until you get the better Bead.
Votive Offering of the Miserable
The Votive Offering of the Miserable is the weaker version of the Votive Offering of the Hopeful Mother. It provides a slight resistance to all elemental damage, making it helpful in most situations. Still, it is replaced by the upgraded version when you receive it.
B Tier
Vitrified Lightning Bolt
The Vitrified Lightning Bolt provides slight resistance to Lightning damage, but a better version exists. Once you acquire that Bead, this one becomes obsolete.
Perforated Liar’s Tongue
The Perforated Liar’s Tongue should hold you over until you acquire the better version of this Bead. With it equipped, you gain a slight resistance to Miasma damage.
Broken Bell
The Broken Bell is a Bead that provides slight resistance to Mystical damage. Like others of this type, a stronger version exists that will eventually replace this on your Rosary.
Lips of the Golden Mask
The Lips of the Golden Mask is another Bead providing elemental resistance, this time against Fire damage. Once again, you’ll likely only use this until you get the better version.
C Tier
Senior Embroiderer’s Thimble
I can’t recommend using the Senior Embroiderer’s Thimble unless you are bad at platforming. The reduced damage from traps and fall damage almost never helped me, making this Bead obsolete.
Miniature Pincushion
The Miniature Pincushion is yet another Rosary Bead that lessens the damage taken from traps and falling. And like the other Bead, I do not recommend using this one.
