Best POIs to land in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
Mega City
TheMega CityPOIis located on thesoutheastern part of the map, and it’s surrounded by three other new locations. The Mega City is one of the most unique POIs in the history of the game, full of tall skyscrapers andgrind railsconnecting the entire area. Fighting opponents can be exciting at this location, as you can rush or evade players quickly by using the grind rails. There is also avaultpresent at this POI that you can unlock by eliminating theHighcard bossNPC. This area will naturally attract other players, so we recommend landing here often to master fighting around the grind rails and tall structures. Remember, you can use theHeavy Sniper Rifleor theCobra DMRfrom a nice vantage point to eliminate unaware opponents.
Kenjutsu Crossing
The Kenjutsu Crossing is a new POI located on the southern edge of the map. Travel south from Mega City and southeast from Steamy Springs to reach this POI. Kenjutsu Crossing’s design features traditional Japanese architecture, with massive buildings and triangular roofs. The floors are not too far apart, allowing you to mantle on top of them easily to take height advantage over the enemies. Similarly, Kenjutsu Crossing is one of the best spots to find theKinetic Blade, a new melee weapon that you’ll need to use to complete several quests.

Brutal Bastion
The Brutal Bastion POI has remained at the same location from the previous season. It is situated at the northeastern part of the map and is one of the best spots to land for good loot and early match combat. There is a Capture Point in this area that you can conquer to get better loot. However, make sure to eliminate all enemies before starting to conquer the Capture area. There are a few ziplines connecting the four towers at Brutal Bastion and a launch pad located in a building on the right-hand side of the main entrance. You can move around the POI using these ziplines and the launch pad while engaging enemies.
The Citadel
The Citadel has survived in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, and it is one of the staple locations to visit on the northwestern part of the map. This area was home to the NPC bossAgeless Championin the last season and remains to be highly contested this season. The towers are connected via ziplines at this POI, and loot is good enough for entire teams. You can land on the central tower at this POI, and work your way down collecting weapons and shields. There are a few Slurp Barrels in the central hall, and you can use them to quickly gain health and shields during fights.
