Using your sight, reflexes, and audio are all critical keys to finishing high in Warzone 2. Because Al Mazrah is such a huge map withso many POIs to choose from, knowing exactly where your enemies are coming from is extremely important and can come down to how well you can hear them. Thus, before dropping into Warzone 2, you’ll want to arm yourself with the most optimal audio setup possible.

Best Audio Settings for CoD Warzone 2

Before you can change any audio settings, you first need to head over to theSettingsmenu and selectAudio. From here, you can tweak all of your sounds for the perfect setup.

Volume settings

Note that these settings are tweaked specifically for headphone users, and also note that headphones will give the optimal 360-degree audio for picking up on sound. If you use a different audio output device, simply change theAudio Mixsetting to your preferred device.

Subtitles

Though it is an audio setting, Subtitles are more of a visual setting due to them drawing the eyes to the bottom of the screen. Because they can be a distraction, turning them off is recommended, though it is entirely a personal preference setting.

The important settings to note here are voice chat, last words voice chat, and proximity chat:

Channels

Chat channels are a personal preference setting that you should tailor to your favored settings. There is no right or wrong answer for these settings, nor is there an optimal setup, so tweak them as you please.

Audio advanced settings

Normally obnoxious music such as that which plays with the coming of a Juggernaut would be detrimental, but knowing exactly when a heavily-armored death machine is in your area can be the difference between survival and swift death. Thus, keeping the musiconis recommended. The same goes for reducing the sounds that come with tinnitus, only in reverse, as the tinnitus sound can be a big distraction with no payoff.

The hit marker sound effect is more of a personal preference, but the MW setting is the quietest without being inaudible, so it is the recommended setting.
